FROM THE TRACK: Rouse Sixth after a tough weekend at Snetterton
Posted by MSG ADMIN
Chrissy Rouse picked up more points with a sixth place finish as the Pirelli National Superstock Championship moved to Snetterton at the weekend. It proved to be another tough weekend for Rouse, who managed to ride around a few issues to salvage a sixth place at the chequered flag. Chrissy just missed out on a top 10 qualifying position and lined up 11th on the grid for Sunday’s 12-lap race. At the green light he got a quick getaway and made up a couple of positions in the opening lap and was up to sixth by the end of lap...

FROM THE TRACK: Fifth for Rouse at Cadwell Park
Posted by MSG ADMIN
The defending champion took fifth after a dramatic two-part race at the Lincolnshire circuit, but left feeling confident about the rest of the season after two incredible starts and leading the races for a number of laps. Qualifying eighth on the grid for Sunday’s 15-lap race, Rouse made the start of the day – if not the season – as he powered past five riders to take the lead at the first corner. He was passed by local rider Tom Neave on lap three, however the race was stopped as rain hit, and re-started over 10 laps with riders lining...

Another tough weekend for Chrissy Rouse at Donington as he fights to push up the championship table, but a solid points haul to add to the total at the end of it! The weekend started well with first practice leading to Chrissy topping the timesheet, but slipping to 4th position after the combined results were in - and a 12th place qualifier for race 1. Yet another fast start for Chrissy had him jumping up 9 places - jumping to 3rd position before a fighting move pushed him by Fraser Rogers into 2nd position on lap 4! As the damp...

FROM THE TRACK: Redemption points at Thruxton!
Posted by MSG ADMIN
After the Brands Hatch dissapointment, Chrissy hit the track at Thruxton with his eyes on the prize - claiming the unfortunately lost points from the previous race weekend. With mixed weather conditions on the weekend, Chrissy pulled out all the stops to score points on both races at the weekend, landing a 3rd position podium finish in race 1 and a 7th position finish on race 2. Chrissy qualified in 8th position for race 1 and after another of his more-common-than-not blazing starts, was quickly up to sixth position. A bit of a battle with Tom Neave began and Chrissy...

FROM THE TRACK: Brands Hatch ups and downs for The Teacher
Posted by MSG ADMIN
A tricky weekend at brands hatch left the Geordie maths teacher looking forward to the rest of the season, after a penalty knocked off his points for race 1 and an unfortunate ending of 6th place on race 2, which Chrissy himself described as "dissapointing". Free practice went well for Chrissy, but the qualifying laps left Chrissy on the wrong side of a gamble with the bike setup when faced with a damp track the team were hoping to avoid, leaving Chrissy to qualify in 22nd place for race 1. The race began with a quick-off-the-mark start for the defending...

Better every race! The remainder of the 2019 season is looking up for #69 Chrissy Rouse after pulling off another brilliant performance in BOTH race sessions at Oulton Park last weekend! In BOTH race sessions Chrissy was less than a second away from the podium - definitely showing off that he's a strong competition for the podium in the SuperStock 1000! The weekend started off slightly down - with only one practice session available as heavy rain lashed down and stopped the 2nd free practice period from running, but Chrissy was okay with this and qualified for a 4th position...

FROM THE TRACK: Cadwell battle brings a fourth place home!

What a performance! Before we get started - Chrissy absolutely pulled it out of the bag and was only a short 0.399 seconds behind a third place finish! Well done #69! Heavy rain on the Friday prior to the weekend lead to only one free practice session being held, which Morello Racing Kawasaki opted to sit out of with the risky conditions, so Chrissy's first run of the track was the extended qualifier session, where he qualified on a brilliant fifth place to start the race! The race started with a brilliant getaway for Chrissy, where he held on to...
